The intersection of fashion and innovation is where Bloom finds inspiration in the now and visions of a more inclusive future. And when we were introduced to the GABA brand, we found ourselves inspired by the unique vision, approach to the design process and the futuristic style of the brand. And from there, our collaboration blossomed.
This Pride, we are honored to highlight the work of GABA and the boundary pushing direction of Ricky Leon Cannon, a rising queer designer based in NYC. Working closely with Ricky, a beautiful custom pendant, “The Cannoid” was born, bringing together the futuristic designs of GABA, Bloom and cannabis.
The Cannoid:
A collaboration celebrating fashion, innovation and inclusion.
The Cannoid is a sterling silver molecular structure inspired by building blocks of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), that compound we all know and love in cannabis. This pendant is embellished with Fire Opal stones, a stone that encourages positive and healthy sexuality and relationships. And symbolizes joy of the heart. We find these stone elements to be beautifully aligned and supportive of the themes of June and Pride.
